My Prediction of The Walking Dead: Season 4, Episode 9.

The Walking Dead returns back on February 9, 2014 and by reading the comic I have a prediction of how the new episode will turn out. If you have NOT read the comic (Volume 9: Here We Remain) do not read this or it will spoil it. Or if you don't care, go ahead on and read.

In the comic book, Michonne returns to the ruins of the Prison discovering Tyreese's (if it were to happen in the TV show, Hershel's) undead decapitated head. She drives her sword to it killing the undead head. She investigates a wreckage of a RV, but finds nothing except for footprints leaving away from the battle at the prison. Around 3 or 4 days later, Rick and Carl are seen in a forest looking for shelter for the night until they come across a small deserted town. They investigate a nearby store, but gets attacked by a walker. Rick is trying to drive his axe into the walker's skull through it's head, but is unable to crack it's skull. Carl shoots the walker after Rick lures it outside, and Rick asks Carl for his gun to dispose another walker. They hide in the nearest house and Rick takes a dose of antibiotics for the bullet in his stomach. Carl later then finds Rick unconscious, his eyes glazed.

After killing three walkers that were banging on the door by himself, one who attacked from behind him. Carl decides he doesn't need his dad to survive. He blames his dad for failing to protect Lori and Judith (in the comic book Judith dies too...) as well as the others from their previous party. Rick wakes up and pleads with Carl to stay indoors. Carl agrees, holding Rick's head taking back what he said about not needing his dad's protection and that he failed to protect Lori and Judith.

Rick gets better after staying days in the house. Just as they plan on leaving, Rick hears a telephone ringing and answers it and talks with a woman who is in a bigger group than they had been in. After talking to her, they decide to stay. While hunting, Rick and Carl encounter a unknown survivor. Before Carl can get close, the man is tore apart by a mass of walkers. After walking away from the man, they find a opened car full of supplies which had belonged to the survivor. Carl then realizes he was setting himself up to die, like how Carl did. Rick gets a call on the phone of the house they're staying inside of. Rick begins to talk to the women (or voice) and converse about their ordeals. He asks for the women's name, and she answers that her name was Lori. Rick forcefully unplugs the phone but can still hear Lori speaking on the phone line. This all of a sudden causes him to realize that all of the phone calls were all in his head and is trying to console his massive sense of guilt by "talking" to his own wife. He hangs up and takes the phone with him inside of his backpack when they depart that day.

Continuing the journey they were on, Rick is trying to teach Carl as much as he can to help him stay alive even if Rick is killed. When Rick leaves Carl alone, to look for some gas, a walker attacks Carl and gets saved by Michonne. Michonne rejoins them, and revealed a unknown survivor escaped from the prison. Michonne had gone following the tracks to find of is he/she was one of them, or part of the Governor's group. The next morning they get reunited with Glenn and Maggie and Maggie learns her father and brother is dead. (But she doesn't need to know in the TV show, Hershel was killed in front of her and in the TV show Maggie's brother isn't in the show).

Rick,Carl, and Michonne return to the Greene family farm where Dale,Andrea,Ben,Billy,Sophia,Glenn and Maggie had been staying. In the comic, Carl and Sophia reunite and Carl learns that Sophia repressed her memories of her mom (Carol) and thinks that Maggie and Glenn are her real parents. After Rick talks to Carl about Sophia's way to process things that have happened he talks with Dale about the possibility of staying at the farm permanently. Dale comments on how the farm wouldn't be a target and how it is no longer the dead he is afraid of anymore. Rick starts to cry, thinking that Dale did the smart thing by leaving and that they would've been fine if they had left too. Dale attempts to console Rick by saying that he has made many good decisions to keep them all alive and offers to talk to him about losing his wife. Later, Michonne reveals to Rick that she's been "talking" to her dead boyfriend. Rick shows Michonne his phone and explains that every time he picks up the phone's receiver, he talks to Lori. Rick and Michonne agree to keep each other's "craziness" a secret.

The next morning, the survivors are woken by a gunshot. Outside, Andrea points her rifle at three new arrivals:Abraham FordRosita Espinosa, and Eugene Porter. Andrea does not trust the survivors at all and immediately gets off on the wrong foot with Abraham.
Ford explains that they are on a mission to Washington D.C. and have come to the farm for supplies for the long journey. Eugene, a scientist, reveals he knows exactly what caused the creation of the zombie plague, yet reveals little as he deems the details classified. After a discussion of their current situation and an attack on the farm by zombies, the group decides to travel along with the visitors on their way to Washington. Rick decides that he is through making the decisions and does not trust himself anymore. As they are preparing their convoy (Rick's car, Abraham's army truck, and Glenn and Maggie on horseback), Rick pulls Carl aside and talks with him about staying with the group and warns him to never let his guard down, ever. With this in mind, Rick and Carl enter their car with Michonne and the convoy departs the farm.
(I got that from a paragraph, and this setting wouldn't show up because Sophia, Andrea,Ben,Billy, and Dale is dead and the Greene family farm is burned down but I thought you should know this happens in the comic. I copied that part of the paragraph from Walkingdead.wikia.com)
I got my resources on telling this from http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Volume_9:_Here_We_Remain. The last paragraph and paragraph and a half wouldn't happen I just thought you should know about it. I do wish that Carl did reunite with Sophia though if she wasn't dead.
Thanks for reading this, and don't forget to get all of your family/friends Christmas gifts!
